Riders on Your Mark. Get Set. GO!

Nearly 150 riders participated in this years Bike to the Beach event from Miami to Islamorada. Watching each team rider for a cause that touches so many lives was very inspirational. The dedication and determination that each rider showed is unmatched.  Here at the Carrie Brazer Center for Autism we got the chance to hold a check point at our center in Tavernier, Florida.

The day was filled with cheers and laughing. Each rider that stopped by showed each of us how much we can accomplish when everyone does their part. Listening to the stories from out volunteers and from riders really brought us closer together as a community.

Many were riding for family members, friends, and even just acquaintances. Seeing strangers come together team up and encourage each other to keep pushing to reach the finish line is what it is truly about.

The Bike to the Beach organization but in so much effort to make this ride happen and overcame many obstacles and if it were not for them this ride would not have happened. They organize rides around the country for Autism. New York, Washington D.C, and Florida are just a few locations. The main goal of this organization is to support families and special needs individuals to have a chance to receive the support they need.

Bike to the Beach donates to the proceeds from the ride to local and national organization to support those who need it most.  The Carrie Brazer Center is thrilled to be apart of something so impactful. Here is to many more successful rides. We will see you all next year!!!
